The Challenge
Our client, a rapidly expanding direct-to-consumer apparel brand, was struggling with a bloated, slow-loading legacy e-commerce platform. During high-traffic launch events, the site consistently experienced severe latency, leading to abandoned carts and lost revenue. They required a platform that could handle severe traffic spikes without compromising on load times or aesthetic quality.
Furthermore, their existing content management workflow was tedious and required developer intervention for simple product updates. They needed an architecture that decoupled the frontend from the backend, allowing the marketing team complete control over the content.
Our Solution
We engineered a modern, Headless E-commerce architecture. By decoupling the frontend presentation layer from the backend commerce engine, we were able to serve the entire storefront as highly optimized, static HTML/CSS/JS files via a global Edge CDN.
This Jamstack approach resulted in sub-second page loads globally. We integrated a robust headless CMS allowing the client's marketing team to seamlessly update products and campaigns, while a powerful inventory API handles the cart and checkout processes instantly behind the scenes.
